Terms and Conditions
PAYMENT:
- We will only accept telegraphic Transfer (TT).
- Payment is to be a minimum of 50% deposit with order. The balance is due when the order is completed and prior to shipment.
- Customers will be invoiced prior to goods being completed. Payment of the outstanding balance is due within 14 days or the goods cannot be released.
BANK CHARGES:
- All bank charges are the responsibility of the customer.
MINIMUM ORDER:
- The minimum order is one 20 ft container. No minimum quantity for items.
FINISHES:
- The four colour finishes shown on the web site are all available as standard.
- Custom colours are also available subject to a 10% surcharge and provision to us of a suitable sample.
CANCELLATION:
- Cancellation or amendments to an order are possible up to seven days after an order has been confirmed. There may be some charge levied for any work already commenced.
FREIGHT:
- You may nominate your own freight forwarder or shipping company.
- Alternatively, Origins Furniture are happy to make recommendations.
SHIPPING INSURANCE:
- All consignments are sent ex-works.
- You are responsible for arranging your own insurance from the moment the transit commences up to time of receipt by you.
- If you do not have your own insurance, the shipping company will be able to provide you with assistance.
GUARANTEE:
- Origins Furniture will offer compensation for any items received by you that may have been broken or damaged only as a result of poor packaging. Clear evidence must be provided. We suggest that this should be photographic
- Compensation will be expressed by either replacing the item(s) or offset against your next container order.
- All omissions or damages must be reported within 14 days of delivery using the Damage Report form provided.
BILLS OF LADING:
- Bills of Lading will only be dispatched after full payment is credited to our bank account.
LEGAL ENTITLEMENT:
- Origins Furniture retains full legal title to the goods within the container until full settlement is credited to our bank account.
